Did you know? Georgia Tech students can work in companies around the world through the Work Abroad Program?

What is an interview room?

An interview room is a room that will be set aside from the Work Abroad Fair allowing employers to conduct interviews with Georgia Tech students during the Work Abroad Fair. We recommend that you have one or two people at your table during the Work Abroad Fair, and have one person in the interview room. The Work Abroad Program can solicit resumes for your open positions in advance of the fair, which will give you the opportunity to contact qualified students in advance to set up interviews.

It is also possible for you to set up an interview room for the day after the Work Abroad Fair. To reserve an interview room, please contact Monique Morris, Recruiting Coordinator, at 404-894-0062 or monique.morris@success.gatech.edu. Make sure to tell the Work Abroad Program Staff which date and room you have confirmed for interviews.

What is the purpose of the interview room?

The interview room is made available to you to help you maximize your time at Georgia Tech by using a private area for interviewing potential hires.

Who should reserve an interview room?

Employers who have internship, co-op, or full-time openings for the summer or fall and who want to have an opportunity to meet potential candidates for interviews should take advantage of an interview room.

Where are the interview rooms?

They are in Breakout Rooms 319, 320, and 321 on the Third Floor (same floor as the Work Abroad Fair) of the Student Center. Because the breakout rooms are quite spacious, two companies will be assigned to each one.

For what times can I reserve the interview rooms?

You can reserve the interview rooms from 8:00am — 4:00pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.

How do I prepare?

Reserve an interview room in advance on your Work Abroad Fair registration form. There is a limited number of interview rooms and they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Send the Work Abroad Program all of your open co-op, intern, and full-time open positions no later than January 7, 2008. The Work Abroad Program will solicit resumes and return them to you by January 21, 2008. After reviewing the resumes, contact the students prior to February 5 th to set up interviews.
